These articles provide a wealth of information about the Virtual Lab School structure and use. In particular, this page is useful for troubleshooting technical difficulties related to your user account and managing the accounts of the direct care professionals you coach. Please take the time to review the information in the Support Articles. You will need to do this before you complete this lesson’s Apply activity.

Some common questions or issues you or colleagues may have that can all be addressed through reviewing the Support Articles include:

  • Account Activation
  • Account Email Block
  • Login Issues
  • Managing the Accounts of Direct Care Users
  • Transferring or Reactivating Existing Users
  • Printing and Saving Learn, Explore, and Apply Activities
  • Certifying Lessons and Courses Completed by Direct Care Staff

If you encounter a technical difficulty using the Virtual Lab School website, you are highly encouraged to first review the Support Articles, as the vast majority of user issues are addressed in these. This will likely provide you quick help with your issue and help you guide direct care users’ technical needs as well. The VLS Support account is closely monitored and any questions that can not be answered in the Support Articles can be emailed tosupport@virtuallabschool.org.

VLS TIP:You can access the Support Articles two different ways. Find the Menu button in the upper left-hand corner, and select the word “Support” from the drop-down menu. You can also select the word “Support” in the upper right-hand corner of the VLS webpage.

News:

Within News are Quarterly Updates describing more specific details on content and technical improvements, highlights from the field and recent research, and other VLS and Service updates. In the News, you can read about upcoming Focused Topics course releases. Also, in the News you can find brief news items on relevant topics and resources to support child care providers and families.
